We are pleased to announce the official release of our start-up UseResponse – fully functional, self-hosted, commercial open-source Customer Feedback Software and Support System.

What is UseResponse?

UseResponse is a Customer Feedback and Support tool that can be easily installed on your website. Main purpose of this service is to facilitate customer support and improve customer feedback, and accordingly to gain community loyalty. More details on What is UR page.

When developing UseResponse we aimed at developing a system that would improve company’s communication with their customers. We make it easier for customers to get in touch with company not just to ask questions, and complain about problems, but also suggest ideas on improve companies services and products.

Our product is written on Singular Core, which is based on Zend Framework, PHP. UseResponse is commercial open-source, and has modular system so that you can build your own modules and modify existing according to your needs.

Another great advantage of UseResponse comparing to SaaS systems is that you own and manage all your data yourself, without any third-party interactions. With UseResponse you have at your disposal both the script and all the data that your company members and customers have ever posted.

How Does it Work?

Once purchased you download the script and install it on your server. We provide you detailed installation instructions, no special programming knowledge is required. As long as you are familiar with FTP connection and MySQL database creation, you should be able to install UseResponse on your server during 15 minutes.

After installed, upload your logo, add a message you would like your community to see, add slogan, and rename the community title if necessary, enable or disable modules. You can customize your community look by changing CSS (we are planning developing several design themes soon). You can also add feedback widget to your website by just placing customized code:

What Should You Expect?

We have lots of plans and ideas to improve and grow our product. We are currently in process of live chat module development and surveys system, as well as designing several themes. Further we will be working on detailed community statistics and API. There are plenty of ideas and features that we are eager to implement. At the same time we are open for suggestions, and would be happy to hear our community voice to know what direction you want to go, and what features to implement.
